The May 2004 issue of Dance Magazine features a 15-page cover story on tap in 2004. Jane Goldberg writes about Savion. Marda Kirn writes about tap traditions (with pictures of Christoper Scott, Rod Ferrone, Jimmy Slyde, Alexandria Bradley, and Cartier Williams). There are also individual features on Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Jason Samuels Smith, and Roxane Butterfly. New York writer Sylviane Gold also contributes a special story on the return of tap to Broadway.
