Riverdance honcho Michael Flatley is considering opening a studio in China to teach tap dancing (or Irish Step Dancing?) to the masses, according to this article in the China Daily newspaper. “One of my dreams is to have Chinese dancers in our shows,” said Flatley, just after arriving in Beijing for a run of his Lord Of The Dance.

This is a good idea to open a studio in Chin to teach tap dancing. China is a world’s biggest country and there are many chances to be successful in tap dancing field. Before this the Canadian dancer Lisa LaTouche also has spent 3 days in Beijing to promote Chicago Human Rhythm Project JUBA. You should try to invite the Chinese ballroom dancer Yan Ling who is certified to teach tap. Better to start tap dancing certification
with affiliation of any renowned university or college.
