RumbaTap =
On February 16th RumbaTap will perform at the Ralph Lauren Performing Arts Center at Lexington School for the Deaf (30th Ave. & 75th Street in Jackson Heights, Queens). I have been teaching a really fun and intense residency there since the beginning of January.
On February 18th and 19th I’ll be teaching a workshop during the day at The Beat in Oakland (contact: corrine.s@sbcglobal.net). In the evening on both days I’ll be performing with my good friend Manuel Suarez and some of the Bay Area’s finest Cuban musicians and dancers in his show “Mas Con Menos” at the Alice Arts Center.
Also I will be on tour in Europe soon:
on February 25th – 26th (Saturday – Sunday) I am teaching a workshop in Paris at Rockland.

In between I can be found enjoying Carnival in Basel on March 6th and 7th. I’ll be the 38th guy on the left with a silly mask on, a 16th century military snare drum strapped to my waiste and claves in my back pocket.
