It might be a driver issue and another user suggested I run WU because doing that fixed his audio issue. I went back to XP clean from the Recovery discs and now although my headphones work, my laptop speakers do not.
The F3J series has a known sound issue, audioo the audio dj has to be replaced. I’m having the same problem on a Compaq Presario. PaleoApr 12, Does somebody got a solution yet.
