come on people, post!! Let's help eachother out...
I like to use Stanton Moore/Galactic, Brooklyn Funk Essentials (watch some lyrics for kids), Maceo Parker, "House of Blues Swings", a GREAT CD called "A Woman's Place is in the Groove" - kind of hard to find. For young kids, Elmopalooza has some tunes with really clear beats.

I listened to a little bit of Maceo Parker on Yahoo music. I couldn't find Brooklyn Funk Essentials. I really like DJ Shadow (try Organ Donor, or High Noon), and DJ Krush has some good stuff (try transition). For more blues style I like Stevie Ray Vaughn. I also like certain techno but I don't think most tappers fall into that catagory.
