[color=indigo][/color] Hello All,
I've been teaching ballet and jazz going into my 8th year. I am not new to teaching, but I am, however, new to teaching tap. We're talking pre-K and kinder ages for tap-combo classes. Most of my dance teaching jobs revolve around the school-year, Sept-June, so my heavy choreography and additional training is right around the corner.
I have several resources for "beginner" classes such as other teachers, training, props, ect, but I would also appreciate any other point of view or options for those with more tap-teaching experience.
How is everyone else out there preparing?
