A new instructional DVD by Rusty Frank reveals the art of Stan Kahn, one of the masters of relaxed "West Coast" style tap. Stan Kahn's Tap Dance Technique is a 2-disk DVD set that has one of Kahn's former students, Sam Weber, revealing Kahn's technique and philosophy.

Up and coming tap dancer Jared Grimes has released a new instructional tap DVD titled Tap... Tap... BOOM! You can buy it on the Live At Broadway Dancer Center web site. According to the web site, "Join Jared as he blasts you out of your tap 'comfort zone' and into a place of self-expression. He will guide you through a warm-up and three explosive combinations. " The 60 minute video is also available on VHS (NTSC or PAL) or you can buy just the music CD.
The Tap Legacy Foundation is now selling LaVaughn Robinson Dancing History, a documentary about tap master LaVaughn Robinson whose tap career spans six decades. The 30 minute documentary was originally broadcast on PBS. A portion of the proceeds go directly to Robinson. You can buy the video (VHS only) directly from the TLF here.
